I'm not to happy with the IN's and OUT's for Carlton this week...

They have dropped McCormick when I thought he played one of his better game last week against the Kangaroos, I think this might put a dent into the young boys confidence.

They also dropped Davies.

And in comes Clarke, I'll be interested to see how he goes and they also brought in Waite.

I think McCormick might not be in our plans for next year somehow. He has been used sparingly after kicking some tail in the VFL.

We have to play Waite, he is down on form and confidence after missing half the season but last year he was the most exciting player on our list. We really need to get him back and firing.

Clarke was obviously selected because of the effect he had on the round 2 encounter against his old team. They were so intent on putting him in his place the discipline went out the window. He will be fired up. Let's hope he doesn't turn the ball over too much.

I agree about McCormick not being in our plans for next season, he seems like a good enough player, but just doesn't string enough games together, even though he played a good one last week.

I am actually excited by Clarke being in the team, he is very quick, but not a good user of the footy, things might change??

McCormack has shocking disposal for the most part - that's a factor.

Clarke has pace but no foot skills so it's a win in reality.

Davies has been up and down, so has Waite, but Waite has the bigger upside... and needs the run to remind him of where he should be at (if he isn't there).

That's the way I think the committee was looking at it.

I'm also dissapointed to see Macca out. I like his moxy, and will be kind of upset if he gets delisted/traded.

Pagan is clearly concerned with pace, bringing in Clarke and Waite when neither of them have the VFL form to warrent selection.

I hope he's made the right decision.

I think they do, they wouldn't bring them in under-done.

I think that Waite has to be played and given ground time. He is certainly part of our future and when on the ground has been as committed as any. With time on the ground and confidence he will pay dividends.

McCormack tries really hard but I just dont believe he has the ability. Davies has the ability but his efforts are not honest although I think this is more self belief than intent.
