Cole can play half-forward.

Rupert ****ed up three times in as many minutes last week. He deserves to have a week back in the 2s to think about how he can stuff up basic football skills. Hopefully he'll come back and show us what hes really made of, ala last years finals series.

I'm sad about Cloke. :(

I know he is a little out of form, and it's probably warranted but I am a fan of his. But hey, maybe he'll find form in the 2's and he won't be out of form. I can hope can't I?

On another note entirely, I'm surprised that they haven't decided to play that Dane Swan. From what I have heard, he has been just outside the team, for a couple of rounds, I noticed his name on the emergency list.

Given that we are out of form a bit, debuting a new player might not have been a bad idea. But then again I'm sure the selectors know more about it than I would.

I also read in the paper that Cameron Cloke has been developing well, playing for Williamstown, and he might play senior footy this year at some stage. So maybe we'll see him in the near future.

Anyway, the in's look good, and the out's aren't entirely surprising. I was surprised about that Kinnear was included last week in the first place, Betheras and McGough haven't played well for most of the year (that I have seen), and I have already discussed Cloke (who I am still a fan of).

Anyway Go Pies, this week. I am determined to remain optimistic that we are going play well, and if we do that then I have every confidence that we'll win. I have faith!

We didn't drop any forwards!

Put Wakelin at full forward.

I'd say the focus is less on pace and more on players who can kick.

Hopefully that is the last time we will see Kinnear in the 1's.
Now to white ant Shaw!!!!

I doubt Richard Cole will play, depending on how he's played in the 2's
Errr...that's why he was selected...because he has been good in the VFL!

As for forwards Hoggy, I join the chorus of people not knowing what you're talking about. Tarrant, Rocca, Fraser and Molloy will stretch their defence. Didak is due and knows the ground well. Holland is another small forward option.

Scoots is a very welcome inclusion. He can fill the role of a midfielder, hence bumping out a Burns/Woewodin, allowing one of them to go forward. We have options.

Richie Cole can play forward, but should get a go on the wing IMO. Would be a good match up for John(ock if he goes forward too!

I would still swap McGough with Shaw or Lokan, given that there is rain forecast.

I hope Scoots actually gets some time on the ground.

Normally I would agree with you but with rain forecasted, I doubt talls will have much influence on the night and if you play all 4 talls at the same time then I think you might be top heavy a bit.

If it rains you will find Fraser on the bench. Tarrant is not a "tall" in the true sense of the word , and Rocca also is ok in the wet because of his ruck/bollocking ability. Molloy is a mudlark.

Collingwoods poor footskills are less of an issue in the wet.

It's been ****ing down this morning.

Anyone remember the Grand Final... Anzac Day 2002 wet weather suits Collingwood D***h***s!

Gotta love the Crows moronic supporter base don`t you.

Stiffy's point is a fair one. With Smart being out, we were concerned about covering your 4 talls. However, with the rain, it is likely you will have a smaller forward setup which shouldn't concern us as much. True you played well in the game you mentioned, but you weren't playing the Crows that day! I would take Stiffy's football knowledge over you Tess anytime ... & you are calling him a moron.
