Red carding Malthouse for going off topic at last year's event was always going to come back to bite you!I am a Captains Club Member but maybe only a certain random amount of CC Members received the email.
NOT HAPPY JAN!![]()
+1 Have never heard of it.
It was probably the captains club premium members only, I remember reading they get some of these non match day access. I'm pretty sure I'm captains club reserved.

Sublime another Villa supporter.Any interesting insights you can share with us? Would be keen to hear some of the player comments too.
Are you a premium CC member? If not, relax a little bitGreat work, Blues. How can we make ourselves more assessable to supporters? Lets have an elitist style night and forget to ask most of the elites.
No players there, but SOS looked like he could pull the jumper on again. I'd forgotten how tall he is.Any interesting insights you can share with us? Would be keen to hear some of the player comments too.
Someone who can feel my pain! Hurrah!Sublime another Villa supporter.
Look, I'm so overly-agitated I just don't think I can.Are you a premium CC member? If not, relax a little bit

So anything interesting to come out of the night?
The interesting part was that it was happening at all. Most who went would have felt it was worthwhile, but there were no revelations. I should have taken notes, but I assumed there'd be other BF tragics there to remember stuff. So anything interesting to come out of the night?
This is the reason footy is ****ed. That's why all major events are not the same. Suddenly those with money figure out what the poor people have enjoyed for decades and it all becomes a marketing excercise to attract the big bucks.Club can't win. Do something good for members who put a fair whack of their hard earned into the joint, get knocked for being elitist. Why shouldn't these folk be rewarded? Go to a game, pay more money for your seat, get better seating. It's kind of how life works.
Sounds like a decent night, with good attendance & some valid points being raised. Don't see how that can't be a positive. Thanks for posting, AD. Hope you had a nice evening & enjoyed your fellow 'elites' company.
So rich people can't/don't enjoy sport as much the working class? They don't have to put a dime into the club if that rings true so why would they? This is the reason footy is stuffed. I didn't see anyone else there with top-hats and monicles. I say standards are slipping. So rich people can't/don't enjoy sport as much the working class? They don't have to put a dime into the club if that rings true so why would they?
I think I see where you're coming from but this definitely isn't always the case. I'd wager that a fair percentage of those who attended aren't all cashed up, rather they just really love the club. Good luck to them I say.
