No way would Swans take Merritt before the likes of Acres and Taylor.

For reason above I think SA and WA boys would have to have strong character and low go home factor. So I couldn't see them pick Scharenburg or Sheed even if they are best available. Bontempelli, Freeman could work. McCarthy is possible, would be your 2nd best forward behind Brown.

In the local newspaper, yesterday. Said he'd prefer a Vic club as they are closer to home, but is prepared to go anywhere.Thurlow2Mackie when did KK say he would prefer to be in Victoria? I dont like the sound of that.

Strange logic. You suggest that SA and WA boys need strong character so the two boys you've mentioned are unsuitable (though from what I've seen of Scharenberg and Sheed... they have good character traits), and then you suggest two Vic Metro boys.
Vic Metro boys are the biggest flight risk of the lot.
Truly strange logic.
The one that I really questioned was Sheed, who's already moved from Kalgoorlie to Perth. The first move is the hardest if any of them are.
Honestly have no idea, but wouldn't be surprised to see the Suns land him at 5. If he isn't taken by pick 5, I reckon Collongwood will grba him at 10.Just out of curiosity where do you think he will end up?

If the Suns pass on KK, will they still pick up JK at #20 in order to hold off Port and Adelaide?
You're still struggling with that concept? If the Suns pass on KK, will they still pick up JK at #20 in order to hold off Port and Adelaide?

A whole lot of that.Honestly have no idea, but wouldn't be surprised to see the Suns land him at 5. If he isn't taken by pick 5, I reckon Collongwood will grba him at 10.
You're still struggling with that concept?![]()

Haha yeah it's an excellent point you make. We stink at first rounders, come on down merret. Why on earth not? Have you seen our first round pick history?
Thanks Tony Abbott!Sack all these fools and just get Emma Quayle to do updated ones. She's the best in the business. Not bad on the eye too![]()

Best draft I've seen. Except for Collingwood I have a feeling they might swing the other way under certain circumstances. ie take Bontempelli first. Think as somebody has already said the Iceberg is a big risk for any Victorian club.
Do you think Carlton will leak to Inside Footy?I love how totally uninformed monkeys come on this board and say "no way will [my club] pass on [gun kid] if he's available at our pick" or "[my club] will never take [gun kid A] over [gun kid B] at that pick".
Fact is, you have no idea, and clubs often take a different view from what is posted on here. Brodie Grundy, Jackson Thurlow, Reece Conca, Shaun Atley, etc, etc, etc - the list goes on of kids who either were "amazingly" overlooked by your club or were taken ahead of someone else you were certain wouldn't get past your club.

It's just another guesstimate and leaking by other clubs.
Look at last year's result...
