sure they have hardly had a good start to the season, but even tho rumours were out, I thought they'd give him longer.

When they got rid of Crespo I really thought they were treading on thin ice, and they are. IMO up front they are limp with Vieri being the only genuine class finisher, and he isnt 100% and hasnt been so far this season.

Oh well, maybe their "anti-football" style will become a memory now.

Couple big games as well tonight - Roma-Parma and Milan-Lazio (Rai 7am).

Zaccheroni named new Inter coach

MILAN, Oct 19 (Reuters) - Former AC Milan and Lazio coach Alberto Zaccheroni will replace Hector Cuper at Inter Milan, the Serie A club said on Sunday.

Argentine Cuper was sacked as Inter coach on Sunday, six games into his third season at the club.

'Zaccheroni will be coach of Inter from Wednesday,' an Inter spokesman said, adding that details of a contract were yet to be finalised.

Cuper's former assistant coach Corrado Verdelli, who has enjoyed success with Inter's youth team, takes charge temporarily for the Champions League game against Lokomotiv Moscow on Tuesday.

Does this mean I'll be able to watch Inter without falling asleep?
I'll just make it clear that I have no problem with the solid defensive style shown by Italian teams, but the **** that Inter were playing is wrong.

The thing is he got away with it in Italy whereas as Valencia in Spain they wouldn't tolerate it.

I saw Valencia play Bayern in the Champions League final a few years ago. And it was catanaccio pure. Get a goal up, then get behind the ball.

It's funny that Cuper such a defensive-minded coach. Argentines normally play pretty attractive attacking football.

Eh, not too fussed. I probably would've preffered to give him a little longer, but we're already 7 points adrift. Zac likes 3-5-2, which could work for us IMHO, so hopefully that won't take too long to adapt too.

not only have they hit rock bottom, they've started digging!!

May take time to adapt to Zacs 3-4-3/3-5-2 as well, but could actually be better for em in the long term.

As long as they well and truly knock themselves out of the title race in the process, Im happy!

Good luck hosting Roma this weekend!!!
