I'll be happy with this rule if they do one thing in return. Piss off with the interchange stewards and basically giving a free goal if somebody runs to the right of the line instead of the left or however it works. I do not like seeing umpires pissing their shorts and giving away 50m because they cant handle a player who gets frustrated. But boy those pointless rules really take the cake. Get rid of them and I'll try and put up with this latest load of crap, at least see how it works out.
One more thing. Some players have a shocking first half before they get their act together and come out with a ripping 2nd half. The substitute is likely to be very useless unless hes all guns firing as soon as hes brought in. If the bloke is having an off day, boy you'd be wishing you could have your other bloke back. Finding the upsides to this rule is a bloody difficult thing.
