With everything going on in India, cricket tours are being canceled (the 20/20 World Champs, England tour) which seems the only safe and logical thing.

Interesting though that London was attacked in 2005 at the same time as Australia were playing in a ODI. The Ashes went on.

Any difference?

The difference is India.

India isn't a completely stable country with a rich terrorism history and as you can see, they're not entirely competent in dealing with such issues.

It would had been eerie to be in London during the bombings and I'm sure there were talks of canceling the Ashes but I wouldn't compare those risks to the likes of playing in India right now.

I mean, where would you honestly feel safer? Attending the 20/20 in India right now or attending the '05 ashes in England?

London has a rich terrorism history had a few IRA Terorist bombings as well as the recent ones.

Yes.

India has had multiple terrorist attacks this year. Before Australia toured I supported them going under my belief India had the situation under control and were able to set up a security zone for the players, like England,

But the attacks on Mumbai are a new sort of attack, on secure areas of the city, and India failed to quickly secure the situation.
