Just having a look this morning at the Herald Suns Ladder with the Lot and noticed that our lowest score this season so far has been 75 points which was in the wet against PA at AAMI Stadium.

This is the best result out of any team in the competition. The Hawks are next best with their lowest score being 74 points..

We have actually kicked over 100 points in ten games this year as well which is a pleasing result considering our deficiencies in the forward half this year.

With the amount of supply and quality of our midfield, the forwards should be able to kick 100 points on most occasions. Wat stat should be most important is how many times have we conceded 100 points

we have conceded 100 points 9 times this year against;
- Richmond
- St.kilda
- Essendon x2
- Adelaide
- Brisbane
- Geelong
- Sydney

Good to see though that only one team has scored 100 points against us the second time we played them - learning from our mistakes....

Not that it happened in the first 3 games of the year. We're improving each and every week.

another good stat from the weekend is that

Every blues players contributed with double figured stats

and

Waite, Grigg, Hampson, Gibbs and Rice :D all had massed personal bests!!
:confused::eek:He's back?

We have improved dramatically, no question about it. What im impressed with is no huge defeats to good sides - tigers and bombers have all lost games by much more than us.

Gee our defence has improved this year, however, we have also improved our pressure within the midfield as well, which has helped. Really pleasing to see that with the players in our back half on Saturday, that we could also add Bower and O'hailpin back into that mix as well.

9 times still isn't *bad* in itself - we play an open and attacking style of football. As long as we win, i couldnt care less how many PA we have all up.

Fair enough, but % still remains pretty important.
