Was listening to the game on K-Rock yesterday, and they said several times during the call that before this season, Geelong had won 12 games in a row during a season 3 times, and in those 3 seasons we went on to win the flag.

Here's hoping history repeats itself. :thumbsu:

I've been waiting for sooooooooooo long!!!! Things like this spook me out.(it's like the number coincidences associated with JFK's assassination) For Geelong it's fingers, legs etc all crossed. We just keep winning week after week and that's all we need.
 
Yep heard this interesting stat also. But I don't really care about what's happened in the past, I'll believe it when I see it, until then, I'll keep enjoying the hell out of this ride!!!! :thumbsu:

I can remember in 1989 prior to the grand final they were saying that the last time Geelong won a premiership they beat Hawthorn in the Grand Final. We all know what happened.

another stat is stevie johnson out of his 78 games he has kicked goals in 70 of them and since his return in round 6 we havent lost a game, we have johno we kick goals and we win:)
