Imagine being as week as p*** on genocide and murdering schoolgirls and topping it off by endorsing actions by a totally unfit reality tv show celebrity and his Fox host alcoholic war commander mate, which is going to send our economy into a tailspin.

No fan of Albanese, but what do you want him to do? Him saying Trump was wrong (he was) and should stop the war isn't going to get Trump stopping the war. At this point it's not stopping until Trump can sell it as a win. In the interim Australia should be sending a warship or two to help escort ships through the Straight of Hormuz. Not because it'd help Trump, but it'd help keep fuel prices down in Australia (and hence inflation, mortgages etc.).

If ships can get through with escorts, then there's enough there for the US to strike a back channel deal with Iran, that they'll stop attacking, if ships can get through without being attacked, since they can anyway, leaving both sides to claim a victory and the world get back to (whatever passes for these days) normal.

What do I want him to do? Not publically say he supports tramps illegal actions. Not send resources to the middle east.

We should be condemning the US actions, like Spain has done.

By Albo condoning it, we've made ourselves a terrorist target. Iran is striking Arab countries that support US military bases.

If Iran is the root of all terrorist evil (like uh Iraq was, and Afghanistan.. hmm noticing a pattern here), why do we want to align ourselves with the US devils who are actually the world's biggest terrorist threat themselves.

It sounds like you’re getting your updates from newscorp. The Iranians have already said there’s no going back to the negotiating table after twice being bombed while in negotiations. They’ve said this is existential to them and they’re not going back to how things were prior to this escalation. Only way I see this changing is if there’s somehow a change of government in the US or a complete purge of the idiots currently making decisions there.

The longer the war in Iran goes on the more proof there is that Trump and his so called Pentagon brains trust have called it wrong (again).

The only way Donald and Pete were ever going to justify their actions was a short war of 4-6 weeks maximum. That isn't going to happen as despite all the White House bull about destroying Iran's offensive capability the Iranians are still shooting and scoring some telling hits. It is one thing to go after Iranian oil infrastructure but that should only have been done if Iran's capacity to strike back had been eliminated. Despite Donald's rhetoric it wasn't.

The longer this goes on the more havoc there is in world trade and the economies in the west.

As I see it Trump has around 3 more weeks to get the job done. That may mean troops on the ground as happened in Iraq. Of course in Iraq George Bush had a coalition of the willing. This time around thanks to Donald getting the rest of the free world off side the US has only Israel.
 
If other world leaders weren't cuck and balls, they need to be pressuring dump to get the **** out of Iran immediately.

Let netanshithead deal with his own mess, if he's not dead already. **** Israel.
