Bells is only 2km from the CBD ... Short walk or tram ride...stay anywhere In town.

I stayed at Kingsway motel South Melbourne a few years back ... was OK

The Tiger sale that comes up on the BF site saying $1 return seems to be sold out. It was only up to midday aedt tomorrow and I wouldn't have expected it to last that long. Single return cost is still $100 at the best but with the timing of some of our games a stopover in Melbourne may be required so the cheersquad bus would be cheaper overall. And you'd also get back the next day.

Been a while since I went to a game at the Gabba (saw both draws) but the QLD supporter group post match function used to be at the Pineapple Hotel, Kangaroo Point.

Or the Shafston. In fact IIRC the Shafston was first choice but renovations meant a different venue had to be sourced.

I was at those draws too wharfie.

Me and Ms CMPower just booked our hotel for Melbourne in July, my birthday weekend vs Essendon. Looking forward to it first game interstate game since 2007!

My interstate travel from Qld takes me to Melbourne to see us V Roos in round 3 then to Adelaide for games V Hawks crows & Eagles then back to Bris to see us play the Lions at the Gabba. 5 games in a row!! Woohoo! !
Looking forward to meetups at all 5.

My interstate travel from Perth is the Hawthorn Anzac Day clash and to Melbourne for the Essendon game.On top of round 1 here should be a good year, the way work is hoping to add 3 finals to it as well.

I'll go to our 5 games in Melbourne and home games I may go to are Hawthorn on ANZAC Day and Dad suggested Richmond in Round 8 but that's a Sunday Twilight so I'm not too keen on that.
