Caught a Mr Mime while on my European holiday, made Venice worthwhile lol.

Got everything except the Mareep evolutions, regional exclusives and legendaries. Stupid Mareep.

Oh, and also Pichu for some strange reason. Hopefully an egg hatch in the future has him.

The gym meta is really good now, I cannot praise it enough. It looks about evenly divided across the Perth suburbs and gyms change hands frequently. There is naturally some clustering but overall my Pokemon get returned fairly regularly and gyms are not difficult to take down even when relatively strong.

The Perth northern suburbs used to be enormous successive blocks of blue, yellow and red.

Unfortunately team yellow, or team piss as I like to call them now, are complete assholes in this area; you knock them off a gym after a day or two on it, they get their full gold, and you put your blue/red team on it, and an hour later they've kicked you off again.

They can keep the gyms indefinitely and earn the gold the long and slow way then, if they're going to be that selfish.

Create a yellow alt account and just keep feeding them berries for lulz. It's very easy to farm berries and you only need a couple per Pokemon per day to keep them topped up.

I'd do that in your position. They will get the hint.

Patch notes for the latest update.

  • Added icons to the Pokémon information screen to indicate how the Pokémon was caught.
  • Added the ability for Trainers to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym after completing a Raid Battle.
  • Added the ability for Trainers to send Berries to their Pokémon defending Gyms through the Pokémon info screen when they are not nearby. Motivation regained will be less effective through this method.
  • Added the ability for Trainers to give Berries to Pokémon defending Gyms if their motivation meter is full.
  • Improved Pokémon Collection screen search functionality.
  • Fixed an issue where Trainers were unable to complete Raid Battles started before time expired on the map view.
  • Fixed an issue where Pokémon are not properly returned to their Trainer after defending a Gym.
  • Various bug fixes.

1st - good
2nd - even better
3rd - don't see the point, if you're farming coins you'd actually want to recall them or find a way to make their motivation drop faster
4th - fine
5th - neat, but not used much (by me anyway)
6th - great
7th - thanks, that would be neat

Overall solid, and I am actually glad they keep up with the significant fixes a year after release.

I saw another person playing PoGo for the first time today, and it turned out to be my nemesis, the level 33 yellow with all the supermon who dominated all the gyms in the old system. He started knocking over a gym I was heading towards to occupy the 6th slot, by the time I got there it was nearly over. I put on half a dozen berries, and stuck my Gyarados on and kept walking, but only lasted 9 minutes.

Like I said, create an alt and pump berries into his 'supermon'. Will never get them back.

Gunna spend all day feeding berries to my Flaffy. :D

you must be keen on ya pokemon mate, is that a roof youre on?
dedicated and i rate it

I really hope they don't stuff this mechanic up.

Lugia's catch rate is half that of Tyranitar, Dragonite and other pseudo legendaries. There's no way in hell you catch it if you've got a dozen premier balls.

Yeah, we'll have to wait and see on this one.

The one huge positive is that you cannot leave one in a gym. Otherwise you could expect spoofers to flood gyms all over the world with legendary Pokemon.

What is the website that you are using for this?

Hatched a Tyrogue on Friday (dex to 187/213), and according to the IV calculator it has equal attack and stamina, so that's a 50-50 chance of getting Hitmonlee or Hitmontop. Good news is I need both.

I've also got 6x 10km eggs in the bag, a few more and I'll unleash one of my 3 lucky eggs, and try to synch it with a double xp event and a streak day 7 :thumbsu:

This new Gofest looks to have stuffed up, no suprises to me Niantic have created something they can't handle and that's been evident from the very start. Glad I stopped playing months ago

Then why post in this thread? Strange.

Game has improved a lot with the last update, but this wasn't a surprise at all.
