Don't know what to feel about this

Chansey was OP back in the day! Huge amount of HP and could heal itself. Just level that bad boy up, there's a reason he was in a 10km egg,

Well it's currently on 171 HP.... Might just level it up **** it

Powered it up 3 times and it's now sitting on 198 HP...each power up cost a candy

Got 20 candies left for Chansey...should I just use all the candies or send it to a gym? Not too sure of the correct way of training a Pokemon ?

They've overkilled the process to evolve magikarp. 400 candy is way too much.

It gets a monstrous CP boost when it evolves though.

It's a waste imo. You might not get one for a while, but when you do you'll be a higher level and it should be much, much higher. I'd wait and save the candies for a better one.

I have a question I am not sure about. If I go somewhere with a lure on and I use an incense, will that mean more pokemon? Or just wasting my incense?

Yeah it's not worth spending anything on it. Will take a stupid amount of stardust and candy to get it to anything worthwhile.

2km eggs spawn magikarp, and when you hatch one I'm pretty sure you get bonus candy, so it's not like it's impossible

saw a screenshot on twitter that had a 85 cp magikarp evolving into a 955 CP gyarados. So worth it

I just realised I had a few magikarp without realising that what was everyone was talking bout...always have a good location to net a few too every time

Well I'm Lv21 - I reckon' your Chansey will be super strong when you get to this level.

Just FYI - 198 HP is huge! That is a great Pokemon to put into a gym to defend. My max Snorlax has 205 HP (remember I'm lv21) and my 1558 CP Flareon only has 89 HP!

Just had a nice walk around the St Kilda foreshore.
Grabbed a few i didn't have, a 700 Dragonair, a 600 Growlithe, a 550 Rhyhorn. Also grabbed a 450 Vulpix, and a 430 Cubone.

Well I'm home in time for the footy.

Caught nothing worthwhile. Evolved a pidgeot. Caught a meowth and a raticate.

Mainly went for the gym. Trying to take a Uni gym is death. Had a bunch of people there just constantly fighting over it. Finally took it and levelled to a level 3, a couple of other team yellows put Pokemon in and I headed off content with taking it.

Got half way home and it was blue again.

I'm 16.
I have really noticed that the higher level you are, the better they get. And they are so much harder to catch.
