it's ironic that a chick with a 9kg head such as Alanis Morissette is able to 'go down on you in a cinema'....I mean it would be like a donkey blowing you, everyone in the cinema would know

To be serious for a minute, its probably due to diabeties as opposed to any 'justification'.

Also as a general rule, I find girls of all shapes and sizes drink diet drinks over normal.

I've seen lots of fat guys who are like Mr Creosote or Billy Bunter eating high fat and sugar foods washed down with diet drinks.

Kind of ironic as they are meant to be guarding her, but not really something i think of when i think of the word irony.

I used to, but then they brought out coke zero which is better then both (unless mixing with alcohol).

What I would like to read is a genuine explanation of why overweight people do this, from an overweight person him/herself.

Is it really what the majority of observers believe - that it is some form of (misguided) justification or attempt at doing something healthy?

I used to weigh 180kgs and unfortunately I was one of those "fatties" who would buy diet coke, however I secretly put 5 teaspoons of
sugar in it when no-one was watching.

I guess the only explanation I can give you is I felt self consious
like I was being judged, so I countered this by pretending to
make an effort.

I've trimmed down, now only weighing 120kgs.
