I'd riot of it was anything more than a fine. Absolutely laughable if he gets anything more than that. Still a joke if he gets a fine though.

If he gets a week, he should have just lined Fritsch up after he'd gotten rid of it, with no eye for the ball at all.

To me it looked like Hawkins was aiming for the chest, Fritsch lifted his head, which cops the hit. But Fritsch should go for staging, the way he carried on.

Yeah, don't think there was a report in it. You'd have to be mental to report something as innocuous as that.

Nothing on the MRP news on AFL website, not much in any of the newspapers either. So hopefully, Hawkins is clear.

Or maybe we'll be lucky and they'll classify it is 'misconduct', $1500 fine and a 12 week suspension with an early plea. Fingers crossed.

TBone got 2 weeks for a freakin jumper punch last season, and though the whole incident should be dismissed, one can't help fear the Geelong Penalty will come into effect ie if you play for Geelong you get a penalty.

With the backlash that the whole touching the umpire thing generated , I’m hoping that had earnt him some credit going forward with how unfair it was on him.
