Thats a pity...he is better as Hulk Hogan...plus the writers suck when he is bad....like when he cowers or cheats or gets beaten?? That never happens....Hollywood Hogan is still Hulk Hogan, he aint scared of nobody, he body slammed Andre the mother****ing Giant! I hate the way everyone switches and changes nowadays???

Hulk is a legend and I too hate how everyone changes, take a look and you will see the triple h bandwagon alive and well.
Hulk will be in the NWO with Hall and Nash, Xpac is also expected to be with the NWO. Look for people to join regularly with many shocks.
For savage fans, he will be in Australia as part of the WWA tour in April !

Jod, may i officially title you the biggest mark in the history of wrestling? :D

I don't know if you saw Hogan in WCW but he was brilliant as a heel.
He was so ver it wasn't funny and almost single handedly beat RAW in the rating, that was a huge feat, a feat that was never and will never happen again.

Besides, the era of Hulkamania being over is gone, that sort of character just doesn't work these days

Harley Race did it ten years before Hogan did it. Plenty of others (Hansen, Brody, I think even Samartino.. Rusty might know for sure) slammed Andre. They did it when he was in his prime too, not washed up and over the hill. Hogan ducked him for years, gutless wonder!! :p

Ahh well....wrestling sucks today anyways, i live by the early 90's WWF, watching those tapes are the best, todays stuff....just poor.
There will never be characters like Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake, Bret the Hitman Hart, Ravishing Rick Rude....etc etc...great times back then.

Stan the Lariat, Bruiser Brody, Harley Race-you're bringing a tear to my eye, Grendel. Those guys are (were) real men.

As for Hulk fearing nobody-it is well known that Hogan would not wrestle Vader in WCW unless Vader signed a contract stating that he would not work "hard" with Hogan. Vader had participated in some of the most brutal matches ever (insane matches with Cactus Jack, Sting, Ric Flair) and Hogan wet himself with fear (thank God for the yellow trunks) at the thought of getting in the ring with Vader. Vader did sign the contract, Hogan didn't sell (surprise, surprise),the matches sucked and Vader's career was screwed in the US. Vader went to Japan, was allowed to work "hard" and is again one of the top stars in wrestling.

Face facts Jod, Hogan was a protected champion (by McMahon)!

Much like any manager does, he kept his meal ticket (Hulkamania and associated revenue streams) away from any 'real' (as real as rasslin gets) fight.

Vader and others (notably Brody, but Hansen, KKKox, Sammartino, Valentine etc) could and more importantly did have some legit shoot matches.

Hogan couldnt have gone two minutes with some of those guys. None more so than Andre in his prime (mid-seventies to early eighties). He was just so damn strong it wasnt funny.

Remember seeing him (Andre) pick up Johnny Gray ONE HANDED on Grays arse and lifting him to the top of a pole that had a (supposed) $10,000 purse at Festival Hall one night when they were the last two left after a battle royal.

One hand!! A two hundred pound man!!! Not a dead weight and he did it easy, awesome.

Terrys nothing but a wanna be muso anyway!! :p

It's a known fact

Vader was a star in the WWF. He went to WCW and none of the top guys would job to him.

He is now in Japan and one of the biggest stars there.

This is exactly what will happen in the WWF. Hogan, Nash and Hall will come in and guys like Jericho, Angle, Kane and Benoit (when he comes back) will be jobbing to these guys. This is why WCW died! Jericho left... Benoit left.... Vince has to keep these guys under control they are egomaniacs and the WWF will die if they are not careful

This is what my point is, why would Hogan refuse to lose to someone?? It isn't real!! People won't look as him in a different light if he lost a match every now and then

Say for example there was a TV show that had 5 main characters every week 4 of them went through tough times, like relationships, family, friends but there was one guy on the show that was perfect, nothing went wrong for him because he was writing the script, IT'S NOT REAL!! Why should he care?? This is what Hogan was doing in WCW!! Remember the fued he had with Billy Kidman? People thought he might let Kidman beat him to make Kidman a star.... but no Hulk had to take the win.. why?? What would Hulk Hogan beating Billy Kidman do for Hogans career.. but imagine what it would do for Kidmans... Hogan is a fool that should have retired long ago

you idiot ! although it is fake, the writers do like to have some realism in the results so a little pipsqueek like kidman beating hulk would have been ridiculed as it is not very realistic for people to believe that result !
They could have crash beating big show because wrestling is fake but they dont do it because it is obvious that this could not ever happen,same with hulk and kidman

Realistic??

A 50 year old man who couldn't carry a match longer than 5 minutes and finishing move is a leg drop against a guy in his mid 20's who can put on some great matches... gee it would be terrible if Hogan had put over Kidman just once wouldn't it???

Undertaker was being bagged on the internet this year for not jobbing to anyone.. then he comes out at the Royal Rumble and lets Maven eliminate him.. all was forgotten.. Taker single handedly destroying Albert and X-Pac in a handicap match two shows running was forgotten.. we will see when Hogan comes in but I can see him not losing a match and single handedly beating guys like the Dudley Boyz and the Hardys

As far as me being an idiot?? I'm sorry if being an idiot is not liking Hulk Hogan then so be it. I'd rather see guys like Edge, Christian, Helms, Booker T and even the man I hate Rob Van Dam be pushed than bring in 3 old guys that destroyed WCW

What I meant was that hulk is alot bigger and stronger than kidman and realistically you would not expect hulk to lose to him !
Undertaker did not job to anyone at the rumble, he was eliminated when he wasnt looking, jobbing is when you are beaten fair and square !
Also christian is boring !
