You said the game that counted, the only game that counts is a Grand Final. Sure Geelong knocked us out but you were put out on your arse the next week.
It could be argued that the two home and away games you lost to us during the season meant you didn't make the top 4 and consequently had a tougher run at the flag.
Melbourne probably hurt Geelong's chances at the 05 flag more than the other way round.
