the next Arnaud Clement?

A couple of years back Clement, a respected player but below the top bracket, was a surprise finalist at the Australian Open. On the day he ran into Andre Agassi, who destroyed him in straight sets and Clement hasn't challenged in the majors since.

Is the same fate awaiting Rainier on Sunday? The way he was talking in the post-match interview reminded me of how the English cricketers were talking before the Ashes began - saying they would put up 'a good fight' but not believing they could beat their more highly regarded opponent.

Agassi winning in under 90 mins is a strong possibility.

Interesting post. He (Rainer) did go down in straight sets today, he seemed to be a bit flat. Also his attitude wasn't right, how he kept saying he needed a miracle and for Agassi to get food poisoning for him to have a chance.
