'The internet is broken,' says Twitter co-founder Evan Williams

Evan Williams is the guy who opened up Pandora's box. Until he came along, people had few places to go with their overflowing emotions and wild opinions, other than writing a letter to the newspaper or haranguing the neighbours.

"I think the internet is broken," he says. He has believed this for a few years, actually. But things are getting worse. "And it's a lot more obvious to a lot of people that it's broken."

"I thought once everybody could speak freely and exchange information and ideas, the world is automatically going to be a better place," Williams says. "I was wrong about that."

Sounds like he is a little annoyed that his website was a huge contributor to the election of Donald Trump.

What a whiny baby he is. They openly allow SJW's access to shadowban people and content, get found out doing so with no accountability, get a lot of shit for their pro-censorship stance with some, but silence on hate speech they agree with (no consistency), alienating their users and bleeding market share; and his course of action is to make a misdirection think-piece that amounts to little more than "wah, you guys didn't use my sandbox how I meant it".

Cry into your millions or move onto using it to try make the world a safespace, you sad weakling ;) Free marketplace of ideas is an adults playground. Clear he wasn't grown up enough for it.
