Was it really Wicks studs? If you watch the footage it doesn't really look like Quaynor makes enough contact (and for long enough) with Wicks studs. Kinda seems like something in the ground may have caused that? Maybe a sprinkler head?

Left boot to right leg as Quaynor’s arms are fully extended, before he makes the tackle.

There was also a large metal file about to round off the edges for players who didn't have replacement studs. I think the studs ended up so sharp from walking on pavement and roads etc.

In this professional day & age, i would have thought the AFL would have strict guidelines regarding all playing apparel that are given to the manufacturers to follow.

It's not the players fault tonight, the manufacturer is clearly in breach of their role.

If it's not a banned boot which seems to be the case, for a senior coach to come out and accuse a first game player of cheating is unprofessional and a real shithouse act. Then when called out shrugs his shoulders and says I got told by players they were bad. Nothing would make me happier than seeing this arrogant piece of shit end his career with not a Grand Final win to his name.
