WTF?
Is that actually metal we’re looking at, or just white/silver plastic stops?
Surely not metal.

Ripper meltIf it's not a banned boot which seems to be the case, for a senior coach to come out and accuse a first game player of cheating is unprofessional and a real shithouse act. Then when called out shrugs his shoulders and says I got told by players they were bad. Nothing would make me happier than seeing this arrogant piece of sh*t end his career with not a Grand Final win to his name.

Is this enough proof? Straight from the Swans Instagram account.

I cant even see that photo on the swans instagram account. If it isnt a photoshop then its just motionblur like you said. The motion blur and low resolution of the pic make the studs look bigger than they are
Same. Not just boots though. They also checked for ear rings, finger rings, basically anything of metal.

Poor form and risky move from bucks to raise it in the presser without any evidence. Could arguably be seen as defamatory if incorrect.
WOW!!!! They look evil

Let's not try to pretend this is just a Collingwood issue. It would be the same if it was an eagles player. It's a society issue with social media.
Dumb campaigners are dumb campaigners no matter what team they follow. And then you will have the people that enjoy a dogpile or witch hunt.

Have to have one first.Has Wicks suffered a loss of reputation?
I copped a rake above the knee once and got torn open. Plastic studs too. Not as big as Quaynors gash, and looked like less of a slice and more of a tear but it's possible I guess. Just VERY unlucky the poor lad.For the life of me I can’t figure out how even metal studs could do that much damage.
Extremely unlucky but it could have been even worse. If Quaynor trailed slightly further behind, that boot could've caught his neck instead.
Really have to question why they (whoever is at fault amongst Wicks, Sydney and the AFL) didn't consider how dangerous it could be
Will be interesting to find out how widespread they are amongst the compThat's a good point. What if Quaynor slipped and those studs ripped open his neck or his wrist? Could be a life threatening incident. Surely all "hybrid" studs have to be banned

**** that poor kid with a split leg, afl get out the check book $$$$Beat me too it almost word for word. Wicks would be mortified right now.
Ban the boot and ban metal studs, move on.
