Just perusing The Espy website ffor looking into their NYE gig and down the bottom of the page was a listing for a band called ISIS.

At first i noticed they were on Ipecac (Mike Patton's label) and then I read the bio and they mentioned that Justin Chancellor played some bass on their latest..

Has anyone heard these guys??

Not sure if it's the same group but there three girls who went to the same school as me in a band named Isis. They graduated the year before me (2002) and were a three piece vocal group who had produced a CD by the time they finished school. Not sure if they were on a label by then. Would this be who you're talking about?

It's not the three girls.

They are a fantastic sludgy metal band.

Unfortunately I don't have friends, otherwise I'd be there.

I have their 2nd? album, Oceanic, and it's awesome, but I haven't heard any of their other work.

Nah..they're an American band..but at first when I googled Isis there was a link that had something about an all girl band...
