while at work on sunday i witnessed an incident where a car backed into the side of a parked car.
The offender got out of his car waited for those around to leave and left himself without a note etc etc[not uncommon sadly].
Unlucky for him he didnt see me and i did the right thing by the victim and left a note with the rego, car details and my mobile number if they needed more info.
The victim rang me yesterday morning and wanted more info which i was glad to give.
Now what got up my nose was at no stage did the victim thank me for doing the right thing.
im not sure who is worse the bloke who took off or the thankless victim.

cheers!

With the mentality of motorists these days, it's quite a common occurrence for this sort of situation to happen

I appreciate you went out of your way..but my first thought was yes rude ungrateful person..but then remembering accidents I have been in all you want is to find out who and what happened so your insurance company has the details.
I would like to think that once time has passed she will ring back and thank you.
