It's been a looooong night!

The kid next door was having a 18yr old birthday party and we have had precious little sleep..

Loud music, drinking, then the booze kicked in and the fights started....the police (8 cars) were here on and off all night plus one kid was taken in an ambulance...not sure what happened there, I think it was another fight..

Just to make matters worse, have just been out to get the paper, and walked in some puke on our lawn..

Why oh why do you guys (and girls now I must admit) feel the need to fight at the drop of a hat??..Instead of just enjoying yourselves and getting onto some chick.....Ah, the memories!!

The youth of today hey macmum. Back in my day (15 years ago) the most action you saw at an 18th was one of your mates 'pashing' someone (preferably someone of the opposite gender). Nowadays all you read of 18-25 year olds is being involved in fights and stabbings. Sad stuff.

Alot of guys have got big egos that need to satisfied here and there and parties is where they can pit it against other guys. Some of these guys have some need to be always told how good they are, they are bought back down to earth one way or the other.

Im with you Grim,its a tribal experience I like to revisit every now and again.

The wife doesn't approve so I usually seek a little camouflage in the vegie patch.

I remember my birthday party, it was just playing PC and Xbox 360 games with a selected group of friends, why can't we all do that instead? It's not like fights are going to happen....

I think it would be brilliant just to get a group of friends together and listen to rock albums with swear words or maybe just read stuff about vampires or something.
