Today
South Freo v Swan Districts..
Wilson v Notte.

Who will stand tall, who will be the player to stand up and kick a bag a maybe cement their spot in our side.

Notte was named at Full Forward as was Wilson.
Swans go in to the game without Hansen who up till now has been the focal point when going forward.

If Notte or Wilson kick a bag then I believe that player will be in line for a game in 2 weeks.

AT half time niether setting the world on fire, Both done soe good things but niether really trying to break the game open.

My thoughts in the wafl thread

I think we have to remember we drafted Notte as a long term project give him some time. I personally don't think we will see the best of Notte till he hits 22/23+ he has enough potential to stay on the list for another two years.

Some of Nottes marks have been special.

I've watched a considerable amount of Swannies (as I am now on ABC) and focused on Tony Notte. To be honest I'll be astounded if he ever makes some sort of contribution for West Coast. He's a smaller, skinnier and watered down version of Justin Westhoff.... who is a sometimes player with Port Adelaide in my opinion.

He certainly must have made an impression in his junior career. Seems like he would have been a better pick in the rookie draft as a speculative development player rather than pick 20 of the 2007 draft. He just doesn't look like he'll build the physique to be a contributing AFL player.

What an absolute joke of a draft thats turning out to be. Ebert and Selwood couldn't hit the side of a barn from 10 paces, Nottes still as skinny as Christian Bale in the Machinist and Masten's either injured or contibuting bugger all besides maybe three games a year. Our only chance is if they all "click" at the same time like Geelongs 2001 draftees somehow did.

I stopped reading.

^ anti, the sky is falling in, remember? What are you doing laughing?

Seriously guys, in a few years I'd be surprised if we're remembering Masten, Ebert and Selwood as a bad draft...

yeah, if you think 2007 was bad...dont look at 2008!

Nic Nat - guy cant read the play to save his life, i've been told it's the most defining attribute in a footballer. at best he'll be dion woods Mk II

Luke Shuey - played 2 games in 2 years, at this rate he'll be delisted at seasons end.

Tom Swift - why do you continually choose to take the game on? you disobey the orders of playing slow with minimal risk and then turning the ball over. is ill every second week.

Ash Smith - Ryan/Nathan Lonie's long lost 3rd brother

JoJo - like a soldier shooting himself in the foot to be sent home, he broke his ankle so he could cease playing with peel. not good enough.

Notte is a opportunist forward at WAFL level and can kick his 4-5 from limited possessions whether he can do it at AFL level is uncertain , but was at the game today and he has ability , no doubt !

Given how much of a rabble they are wouldn't you? heck i'm surprised he didn't saw it off

It's not a lack of ability. Any AFL career is dependent on his ability to bulk up to a viable playing weight and increase his fitness level.

definetly not time for tony has been dropped from the wafl league team to play Peel tomorrow [sunday]

Will be kicking the dew off the grass in the ressies.

"The aim is to take the pressure off him ,so he can go out and enjoy his footy again."says a spokesman from swans.
