Week in and week out, Ratts throws the changes and most of the time, they prove to be a bit of a surprise.
The inclusion of Bentler over Hadley last week was a disaster and why Ratts persisted with Wiggins and Russell over Houlihan this week is an enigma.
Ratten has to stop kidding himself. Yes blokes like Russell, Wiggins and Cloke can have their games but unless they can play these games week in and week out, they should NOT be playing in the navy blue guernsey.

Look at the benchmark of the competition in Geelong. For the last couple years, they know exactly who should be playing and where they should be playing which makes a winning formula. Each week at Carlton, players are thrown around and random players are brought in which needs to stop.
Ratten needs to stamp his authority, drop all players that definitley are not AFL standard, bring in players that can actually play footy and experiment until we find a formula that rest assure, will win us games! Not persist with Russell and Wiggins anymore as their time is/should be up!

Bring in young Robinson, Houlihan, Grigg, Fisher and Garlett
Drop Wiggins, Russell, Cloke, Hampson and Austin.
Play a team full of running and speed which will let us play the game on our own terms. Russell, Cloke and Wiggins will not be part of our next premiership side. Hampson and Austin clearly need more time in the VFL.

If a player doesn't seem up to it.. bring in someone else the next week and eventually, you will find a team that is trustworthy and capable of winning any and every game.

Or on the other hand one could say that some of the ones you want to bring in won't be in our next grand final team so put more games into the kids that might

I recon persist with Austin, he looked alright. Time to see Robbo back, that kid CAN'T fail. Grigg will need to come back via the Ants and fisher might be worth a go.

He has been 'experimenting' and the experiments have been proven wrong.

Wile Robbo played a good game in the magoos this weeks, Garlett, Setanta and Houla were OK, nothing much better than they were doing in the firsts. I mean pro-ams like Iocabucci did just as much as those guys. Why don't we throw Iocabucci into the side, there's an 'experiment'! (yeah I know he's not listed!)

We still don't have the cattle.

I dont see Fisher being apart of our next premiership side.

Hartlett on the other hand, i have a real feeling this kid might turn out to be something.

Edwards would have been handy tonight..

Would like to see Robbo back in, liked what i saw of him earlier in the year, played well today apparently

Don't know about Fish..... hasn't done enough in the 2nds to warrant selection yet. Is he finished? not looking good

Austin looked alright tonight, like wise Yarran.

Hartlett? His gonna get a run at some point as the club will want to know if they should keep him on at seasons end. (Hopefully the hammys have come good)

I would like to see players given a go in Cloke and Wiggo's place.
Perhaps Austin forward in clokes place.....

or Austin back and send Waite forward.

Hartlett given a run either end at some point.

Warnock when ready come in....Kruez CHF

Theres a few ways we can try

Grigg and Carrots when fit must be in our 22 and I would think Warnock would be close one day.Injuries and suspensions have not allowed us to have our best 22 on the park yet

After watching the game again, Cloke wiggins, rusell, and a few others need some time in the 2's. Bring in the young bridgade robbo, garlett, browne and grigg. These senior players need to be dropped if ratts ants each player to earn his spot. Last weeks win was great but these small loses are killing me especially when we should be winning these sorts of matchs

Com mm0n Blues fire up for next week to keep the supporters happy:thumbsu:

Edwards would have been handy tonight..

I don't know how he would have been handy. Has done nothing...ever.

As far as I can tell, lack's the discipline to be an AFL player too (I'm young-ish, I go out).....but then again we have Fev and Stevo in our leadership group so I guess you could say he fits in perfectly.
