itunes problems

Have just got an ipod, and have two problems which are both eminating from itunes. The first one is fairly obvious...

1) When I try to make an itunes store account, I get this...

My language in preferences is "English (U.S.)"

Obviously I don't have any Chinese converting equipment on here, hence the | | | | 's. Any ideas with fixing that would be handy, as I want the account, so it searches the cd's I have, so I don't have to manually keep putting album covers on. Also searching podcasts and that would be beneficial.

My second one is a little more complex...

2) When trying to add the complete lot of Get This podcasts (163 or something), only 110 or so actually add to my library. However, I can see them in my recently added files, they don't show in the regular music library.

this will happen when you get a new one and set it up occasionally.
i've had to reformat mine a couple of times within the first month but now it's as good as new.
unfortunately i suggest you reformat it, lose what you got on it but keep the files on hard drive and just transfer them when you resetup itunes.

Well I would assume Australia, but it's not like I have seen an option to select Australia anywhere as it is in gibberish.

I think you're on the Japan iTunes site, you need to pick the Australian version. (refer linked picture)

go to the home page of the iTunes store in iTunes, and select Australia from the drop down at the bottom of the page.

Any idea about the Get This podcasts? It's doing the same for my David Cross cd's too. :S

maybe the id3 tags are showing up differently, so they are there but in a different spot? iTunes is rather finicky when adding multiple songs (unless you're adding a whole folder), in my experience.

OR you can hit the drop down arrow in devices for your iPod and check there, to see where they are being stored.
