realisticly i have no idea
waite or bower could be options or even thornton.. though thornton is struggling at the moment

Waite was on him last time and got beaten comprehensively. Was just too loose.

I'd give Jamison the big job on Brown this week. Have Bower go to Bradshaw. Thornton to the third forward and Waite as the loose man.

Bring in AUSTIN and give him the job, for experience. It doesn't matter if we lose this week, we're not going to make the "8". Look what Pagan did with GIBBS, matching him up with quality opposition players to fast track his development. I know he made a lot of errors in the Adelaide game, but he played fairly well last week in the Bullants win over Nth Ballarat, and should be given another chance. IMO it's the only way to develop young players, i.e. learn from the champions?

Jamming Jammy Jamison is pretty clearly our best stopper. I think it really has to be him.

Bower or Thornton to Bradshaw and Waite running around being Mr Sweep and trying to get into the space that Brown looks to lead into.

Having said that, now that the season's rooted i wouldn't be surprised to see the 6 million dollar man come back in and take one of them.

I'm no Match Committe Chairman or anything though, so don't bookmark this thanks very much.

so he is going to learn how to kick a bag of goals at chb??

No, he'll learn what he has to do to defend playing against the best. 1. Learning how to use his body . 2. Learning when to go for the mark as against when to punch when caught behind, 3. learn how to block opposition player on leads. 4. Integrate teamwork with other defenders.

I know it's a big task on J BROWN, who incidentally has not played to his best in recent matches. But what is there to lose, only further experience for AUSTIN IMO.

I'd give Waite the job, although he seems to be playing that loose man in defence lately. Leave Jamo to play on Bradshaw, and i'd really give Waite firsr crack at him. Waite is in great form right now, and Brown really seems to be struggling with injury.

We don't want Austin to turn into the second coming of Zac Dawson. That really is the last thing you want, is ruining his confidence right after the end of a very productive year. They need to do what Austin, what they have with Jamo, and that is ease him into it.
