I can live with Pods going to Adelaide - I just thought his body would last better than Gumby's over the course of a season.

Assuming for a moment we don't get Gumby either, who else is there realistically that we could draft as a KPF? Anyone know of any potential rookies we might nab?

Gumby is a much better option than Pods, who was always going to be a desperate punt on 2014. There is risk associated with Gumby, sure, but the upside with him is the possibility of five years of footy in front of our gun midfield.

Out of Gumby and Pods, i thought pods would be more serviceable short term. However I can't begrudge him for accepting a two year deal from Adelaide. I would have been frustrated if we offered him more than one. All three parties seem to win out here.

The J Pod as people like to refer to him as will be at your club in 2014. There is nothing surer.
There are other priorities that Fremantle are trying to work through regarding other players.
