Better in the air than I expected although saints didn't have any good defenders yesterday. That kicking skill is at least on par with Houston. Had far more desperation than the previous week. Need to see that level and more weekly. He worked really hard up and down the ground yesterday. He would be on the wing and then in the forward line a few seconds later with miles of space.

He very hard to match up on due to the ground he covers. A very good acquisition.

He's just another Todd Marshall. That was the exact sort of low pressure game on a nice fast deck that would normally see Marshall have a day out. He's a nice player but don't expect that every week or you'll be disappointed.
He covers far more ground than Marshall for a start and he is a far better kick.

He was everywhere yesterday, covered the ground so well.

Yes up in Darwin, took the crows to the cleaners for 5 goals.

There seems to be a bit of self-propelling mythology here that he only kicks goals against poor sides, but he has 2 bags of 5 against Geelong, 5 against Adelaide which decided a game where they were in the 8 and everyone was talking finals for them, and 5 against the Bulldogs which decided a game where they were in the 8.

I liked his game yesterday, kicked a superb goal into a fluky breeze that defeated a few, and I think it was him again who kicked the ball 60m into the breeze to gift a goal to Rioli (which he he made hard work of). Worked well up the ground and competed hard at ground level.
I thought he was a lot better and that our style of play suited his strengths.

To me he plays well either when played high delivering that ball into f50 or when left deep one out rather than in a congested forward line. He will have ups and downs, but should kick 40+ this year and that would be a good return.

Couldnt agree more.

Let’s see him round 1 against Maynard and co.

Finished with 2 goals and 3 goal assists, and should have had more. Laced out spp who proceeded to **** up a gimme goal, I’m also unsure if they credited Luko with the rioli assist after Rioli made a meal of it before finally finishing (maybe they did I’m unsure if they would have counted that). Also watched Luko give it to a player who kicked a goal and double checked to see if they moved him up to 4 goal assists and somehow they never did.

He also set up DBJ, who stopped and handballed to SPP on the goal line.

Solid performance today, probably worth a shout out as it looked like he was more settled and showed the value he can bring to this team.

Massive overreaction last week but crickets today. I guess only negativity sells on here.

I've commented on Lukos game on the Review thread. Thought he was great.

Already looks an upgrade on Dixon. Beautiful looking kick for goal (and general play) Much rather have it in his hands over the Chuck wagon (even thou I liked Dicko) The forward line gives me a general chubby already.

Good player when the going is good, he always has been. The key will be if he can have that sort of impact on games when we're struggling.

I'm trying to think of a nickname for Lukosius and I think at the moment I'm settling in on 'the dart' because some of those 70 metre kicks are darts, mate, darts, like low flying missiles.

Exactly how I saw his game

That's Jeremy Cameron's nickname. I think it should be Roller.

Like a former 8 time premiership player, never valued and softness questioned his only true nickname should be Doreen. End of discussion
