You are talking about a bloke that is 6'5" 93kgs and has been physically training at an elite level for 10+ years.

The only elite thing about jack watts is his off-field form

Yeah I don't think many people take issue with him banging his way through Melbourne's Instagram model and escort scene. I'm sure most young guys who are (reasonably) famous and wealthy and good looking with a lot of time on their hands would be doing the same. The drug use is a bit lame but whatever, it's his life.

Acting like this when you have a girlfriend is extremely shitty though. I mean, texting some random **** while you're sitting at a bar next to the woman who loves you? That's some next level shit. If it was the (ex) girlfriend that leaked these messages then I say good on her. He'll never live this down.

Tend to agree w this. It shows a weakness in character. The right thing to do is break her heart and move on. Not act like everything is ok and message sluts when you are w your gf, right under her nose because you are too weak to break up w her. He made a fool of what is presumably a decent woman.

Where are all the feminazis to criticise the behaviour from the women involved. They are quick to jump down AFL players throats about their poor treatment of women. Where is the recognition that these hoes are basically throwing themselves at these guys and actively stalking them around town to create situations, and basically being predatory af? I don't think the female journos in footy understand the level of tempation and predatory behaviour of the women. I know i would be doing exactly the same thing as Watts in his shoes, but harsh as it is, i would have dumped the gf.

Did you just unironically use feminazi in a post?

Yeesh.

I like how he was in a relationship with this arty looking sort of girlfriend, dressing himself in ridiculous patterns, trying to cultivate some sort of hipster/art aesthetic. And all he wanted was big **** and rack.... And swimming.

He's been impersonating a hipster, a boyfriend and a footballer for 10 years.

Yeah that will really up set him. They should start with how he's banging hot models and then work there way to his salary.

Finish with him being a shit bloke.

SANFL buffs will be all over it.

Not from me he won’t, I’m above such childishness. Can’t speak for others, however. I’d be more concerned about why, when his club is investing considerable time, effort and money in his health and well-being to improve him as an athlete to optimal performance, that he (allegedly) feels the need to snort a illicit drug that causes numerous life shortening health conditions. I hope they’re supporting him in that regard. The other stuff, well, that’s his business. I doubt he’s a shit bloke, FWIW.

I read somewhere that when making scrambled eggs, you use minimal milk and you need to make sure the pan is pre-heated. This method reduces the chance of the eggs going watery, which can be a problem some people have. Adding salt also helps, it just increases the cooking time slightly. But that extra little bit of extra time and using these methods will get you an awesome and appetizing batch of scrambled eggs the family will love. Also I could not give one sh!t about Jack Watts.
Do you ever make it spicey?

Why some footy players who can't keep it in their pants bother to have a girlfriend is beyond me. If you want to root around then go for it.

Couldn't give a shit what they put up their nose and i can see the reason for doing this over drinking 20 beers on the weekend.

No different to women who have a boyfriend and then lots of male 'friends' constantly orbiting her and 'liking' her statuses on social media. Men's and women's currency are different - men count the notches, women count the number of high profile guys she can snag and the number of 'fans' who validate her.

Women are far far worse collectively, simply put because there are only so many high status (and therefore highly valuable guys around), but there are plenty of women men would be willing to shag (and thus they pay attention to them).

It is Melbourne’s fault for taking him at Number One. If he was picked at no. 40 in the rookie draft and had to work hard to prove himself he would probably be a 2 time premiership player, club captain, multiple B&F, Brownlow Medallist, Father of the Year and King if Moomba. Trying to think what else. Damn Melbourne and that number 1 draft pick

Lol, it’s Jack Watts. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body (apart from his ****, apparently).

Then you'd want to hope he doesn't come back at you with his "aggressive ****." :drunk:

Rocca still kicked 400 odd goals in his career, including 55 and 54 in back to back years and got Collingwood within a bees dick of the 2002 flag. Can't see Jack ever doing that.

Jack appears to have tonned up in consecutive years so clearly he's ahead of Rocca. :rainbow:

if he was at Melbourne for another 3 years he would win 2 premierships

It is (or at least he was from) Melbourne man.

Even the bros here could pass for a dead set Bushwick transplant, but they still just want those tiddies and blow.

True, but he's really made some sort of effort here.

I'd say he's wearing about $300 of faux-opshop General Pants gear.

As someone who spent more time perusing Vinnies in my early 20s than I'd like to admit, I'm personally affronted. You can spot a fake from a mile away.

Just be true to yourself Jack, all of you. The big tata loving, disco biscuit rolling, escort haggling, silver spoon fellating, 196cm disappointment of a footballer that you truly are.

You have to love yourself before you can love others. <3

About two years ago, a gaggle of silly bitches from Perth who were all going out with West Coast and Freo players broke off their relationships and even engagements when the blokes got delisted. Ryan Crowley, Sam Butler were a couple of names, could have been like four of them. And these chicks dumped em all within six months and started going out with Perth lawyers and all this shit.

All I can say is if you're dumb enough to think a footballer is a great idea for a long term partner, then there's also guys dumb enough to think a chick who'd go for you because you play AFL is also going to be loyal.

The drugs:
Last year a young former listed player, from a Victorian Club, mentioned casually in conversation (in reference to drugs), "nearly all the young players do it". At the time, I found the "nearly all" part of his statement surprising & a little alarming. On reflection, it makes sense. With skin-folds etc. etc. so important in the modern endurance running game, it's no wonder cocaine is used by & referred to by some sports people as "nose beer". "Nose beer" is actually an apt description for drugs in this context. Wakey wakey, it's the game's demands which have steered the players in this direction.
I feel sorry for Watts.

The sex:
From the texts, one could easily form the opinion that Watts lacks confidence with women, he is still in his 20's remember. This sensitive part of his private life being exposed is unfair.
I feel sorry for Watts.

The cheating:
What goes on in Watts relationships is his & his partners business. There are normally reasons why men & women chose to cheat instead of breaking up first; for example they might be too scared or not emotionally strong enough to discuss with their partner that it's time to part ways.
I feel sorry for Watts.

Being exposed:
The person stealing & posting Watts private texts & publishing them, allegedly the ex, has behaved in an atrocious manner. This type of act is venomous & calculated. This act has shamed & possibly cost Watts his job and future employment prospects. If it was the ex, I can certainly understand why Watts may have found it too difficult to simply break up with her. This type of behaviour, imo, qualifies as domestic violence. I hope he applies for & is granted protection under the legislation.
I feel sorry for Watts.
(and feel sorry for the exposed women who were not selling services. For the women who sold him services, it was fabulous free advertising, good for you)

It seems the only positive to come from this, so far, is the addition to the Australian vernacular of Swimming & ****.
I'd like to thank Watts.

yeah i remember the article. there's some statistic that 75% of nfl players divorce within 2 years of their career finishing. its not about love, its about benefit. the difference is women can if they are still relatively young, find someone to take them. also represents the different phase of life the women move into: have fun with the hot famous sexy afl player with status then settle for the provider so she gets the lifestyle she wants. nice soft landing.

I knew a woman who was a cheerleader and got a gig at the IPL for the first couple of years. Some of the stories from the parties during and after the IPL are very funny and sound like a ****fest for the players. Warnie would hit on anything and im sure she mentioned Gilly tried to get her back to his room.

Then there was the story form a mate who went to the ODI world cup in WI's. He reckons the crowd got word of Mike Hussey (mr clean himself) cheating on his wife at a party between games. Crowd were giving it to him when he was fielding on the boundary, enough that Hussey ask ponting to field elsewhere and he sent Roy Symonds over and the corwd quickly moved on as they loved Roy's interaction with the crowd.

Also, wasn't there a rumour that Matt Elliott was exiled from the Aus cricket team as he told his mrs the truth to what happens on overseas Cricket tours and a few blokes got caught out by this.

The way I heard the Elliott story was: arriving back in the airport his missus confronted him about cheating while on the trip. He defended himself with a "we all do it!", and appealed to the other guys for confirmation of this ("right guys, we all do it?"). While the other guys were also meeting their WOGs. Needless to say, this did not earn him any friends.

Not sure how much that story has grown in the telling, but it's a great story either way.

Nic Nats a bit of a lemon too given he gets injured frequently. Hurley and Davis are probably the picks from that draft.

Shuey? Beams? Hannebery? Sloane? Some bloody good players in that draft...
