To have two members of the leadership group miss 9 games in a season through suspension is a disgrace. Between the two of them we are 40-50 midfield possessions worse off with a couple of shot duck stand in Polo and Nahas , How the hell are we going to perform. I don't care if there is claims of misscariage, fact is BOTH of them put themselves in a situation that they currently find...and the RFC is the poorer as aresult...bloody smasehed today...these two blokes being the GUILTY party

You simply cannot put the blame on these 2 it's just stupid.. As stupid as the desicion they made was it's a team effort.

well, call it what you will, the incidents Jacko was suspended for were pathetic. He should have a clause in his new contract that penalises $25,000 for ea game missed due to suspension.we just can't afford this reckless behaviour.

*EFA. Agree :thumbsu:

But for now, it just gives us a chance to try a few guys out, and weed out some others (eg. Nahas, Polo).

Agree with Bo.
Not good enough from a so-called leader in Jacko who has been ill discipled twice.
Cotch was silly. If he learns from it, then no long term damage done.
But Bo's thread is on the money.
They both let the club down badly.

Nothing wrong with a bit of grunt in the team. Although players getting suspended is bad atleast it shows we wont get pushed around.

I agree with Bo.

If it was King everyone on this board would be screaming. It happens to two of our better players and some her shrug their shoulders and think no big deal.

I don't agree at all.
I like it that they care enough to get suspended.. Passion is good. Controlled passion is better..
The OP has overheated without a doubt.

Earth to jerkoff.
Passion is getting the footy and going hard it at. It should never be misplaced for going the man and doing something stupid. But I guess you'd be well versed on doing stupid things.

Wow zing...
Its like OP has set the Nuremburg trials on these blokes because they have been suspended..
If you think Cotchin was stupid in his competition or hardness for the man and the ball then you would also would agree he must have deserved the 4 weeks.
Which clearly indicates you also have NFI.:D

Not totally true, some of us were calling for Kingy to be reported for striking Browney today :D

Haha, just kidding... well we did, but all in jest ;)

But in all seriousness, teams are losing players on report left, right and centre due to the bullshit way the rules are being enforced these days. To a certain extent, clubs just have to expect it, and have the depth to cover it. But you'd hope players don't become serial offenders, and Jacko does need to calm down a bit.

That's not correct Wang, Cotch admitted himself on 'one week at a time' on Monday, that it wasn't a great decision on his behalf and he "should have at least put up an arm in an attempt to spoil" and not just drop the shoulder into a bloke that was blind-sided. Was always going to come off badly for him, mind you it sucks that Hille beat the same charge twice this year, but that's the inconsistency of the MRP and he shouldn't of put himself in that position. He agreed with Luke Darcy that he would like to have that moment again.
NFI call by you a bit harsh I think.

bit of an over-reaction Bo -especially with Trent

Jacko needs to focus is aggression a little better but i think he has done a very good job in being the "enforcer" through the middle.

Agreed..Overheat :thumbsu:

No overreaction at all both players are on the leadership team meaning they should be playing by example...To go for a row and miss 9 games between nthem leaving the side effectively rooted, I am sorry to say has let the club down...For anyone to say otherwise has NFI, I mean Jacko was suspended twice...and that still doesnt register as letting the side down...I must be crazy:rolleyes:

Pffft...now look who's talking out their clacker. :o

The only mistake they made was forgetting they played for Richmond instead of Carlton or Essendon and therefore wouldn't get off.
