MRP / Trib. Jackson offered 2 weeks

Jacko is playing good footy, but as always he has let himself down yet again.

its pissweak and stupid, but its there. A stupid little rib tickler that would have done SFA, but its enough to cop a whack. Even stupider is Jacko did it with his priors and loadings, so whats a pissweak tap is now worth 2 weeks.

Really angry at him for this shit. its stupid and selfish play. We need his leadership for our younger kids out on the field, and he lets them and himself down when he cops weeks for idiot stuff like this

What Hackson doesnt get, or refuses to get is that tough customers over the stretch have copped their fair whacks from the tribunal, but more often than not, their indiscretion was pre meditated, to get something happening for their team, either to stop a run etc....The shit that Hackson cops weeks for does JS in terms of impacting a game and then he cops 2 weeks for it...Leader of the highest order..

I don't even think that Jackson actually hit him. More that they collided and Knights copped it in the ribs. If there is no danger in him getting rubbed out for anything more than 2 weeks then I would challenge it.

Crap ... none of our players are ever in the wrong, blah, blah, umpires are against us. Jacko hit him and copped two weeks, one because he has a poor record. He was playing decent footy and pure and simple lets us down again!!! Sometime, somewhere he just needs to wake up and smell the roses!

i agree with this - i mean what have we to lose and it certainly did not look like a hit.

wtf? is he just meant to let the player collide into him?

stupid ****ing decision but typical of the crap that the MRP seems to hand down week in week out.

watch and wait as Walker gets nothing from the Morris tackle.

*edit* sorry just read that Walker got 3 weeks. Bloody deserved it also. **** off back to the boondocks for a while and get a haircut.

I am with you goldy, jacko did it and must pay the price

Time for jackson to wake up and concentrate on footy. if he hasnt learnt by now that you cant escape the cameras he never will.

and to think connors has the wrap in the media as having issues?

What about this crap.

Contact between the Adelaide's Richard Douglas and Richmond's Alex Rance from the third quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Rance is bending down to take possession of the ball and gains possession as Douglas comes toward him. As Rance moves upward from a lowered position, Douglas prepares to bump and, at the last instant, elects to attempt to tackle his opponent. His tackle makes high contact and a free kick was paid to the Richmond player. It was the view of the panel that Douglas' actions were an attempt to tackle and the Adelaide player had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball. No further action was taken.

ok looks like the front on head contact is suddenly ok again

I find it hilarious that most list Jacko in the outs each week, chastise him for every mistake he makes and then get all up in arms about him being rubbed out?! It was soft, but there - only his poor record has mean he'll spend time on the pine...

Besides, surely this is what you've been waiting for?! A chance for Conca, Webberly, White or Maric to have a few weeks in the ones and retire Jacko to Coburg for all of eternity?!

Sure he tapped him in guts but that would have been nothing unless the Crows squealed again...which they did, as usual.

They've got form too. Kingy last year, Jacko this year. I'm glad Walker got his right whack, that was a dangerous tackle.

There's some serious bad blood starting to develop between these 2 clubs.

He should have made it worth while and floored Walker in the final few minutes, would have done the footy world a favour:thumbsu:

Guys he clearly gave him enough of a gut punch to knock the wind out of him.

Jackson was great on the weekend I thought, disappointing for him to go and do that.

Some of the Adelaide players are soft though. Balanced out by guys like Thompson.

Dwayne must hate Adelaide he seemed to be barracking for us. When Martin put Vince on his arse by the interchange Dwayne says "You can't do that to Bernie Vince here! He's like their Bambi!"

This is just another reason to move Jackson on ASAP. He has been laying well the past few weeks but just when you think you can rely on him he goes and gets suspended for something ridiculous.

While I don't advocate violence on the field we all might have accepted it somewhat more if he had of done something to spark the team to a victory, but it's just a stupid little tap that was never going to do anything.

He is a pretend hard man who will need to be re-trained after his two week holiday.

Let's just clarify a couple of things:

1. The MRP require a club medical report on all cases. So the Crows DIDNT squeal.
2. Jackson would have only got one week but he had carry over points
3. Jackson is not a hard man
4. Jackson is not a good player
5. Jackson is stupid

was expecting to come on and read everyone celebrating in the streets that jacko is out of the team.

All have to remember that he would only get a reprimand if he didn't have one of the worst records in the AFL. A reprimand is nothing. But he has 92 carry over points and a 50 % loading!

jacko got a little 1 into him and there wasnt much in it but it was the bad record that got him done. ffs jacko we cant afford these at this time of the year.

Can only speak for myself. I am not a Jackson fan and concede he has been good in recent weeks. But also will say that a great deal of the reason I amm not a big fan of his is the tribunal bulls**t (along with his constant butchering of the ball). He just doesn't endear himself to me for these incidents. A 10 year old kid leatns after the third or fourth time, Jackson still doesn't get it.
Better off without him and his lack of discipline.

Should be good to see someone else given a go and we don't need him for Melbourne and Gold Coast. Probably a good chance to give White one last go to make it as an AFL player.
