Mods please merge if this has been done elsewhere. I searched but didn't find.

Monkey Jr has impressed me enormously in his first 8 games. I think he's solidified his spot in the best 22 with his speed and kamikaze attack on the footy.

He's so brave, I just love the way he goes about it. Massive respect for Monkey Jr.

Solid player. Can't believe we got him at pick 62.
To be fair I always thought we picked him for the sake of having a f/s pick, but he definitely deserves to be on a list.

Another player able to break the lines, really need it with some traditional stoppers down back. Is also a good kick and hard at it. Has really impressed,

what brennan is showing now is he can play in a few positions down back he playing good tight defencive footy and when the opportunity presents he runs and spreads and takes the game on .Amazing really for his lack of AFL experience reminds me of someone just given a chance and with a love of playing footy and really having a go.

If he could bloody kick the goals that he should he'd be great..

They'll come - I'd like to see him develop into a real line-breaking utility who can take a turn thro' the midfield too if req'd. He has become one of my favorites. Definite first 22.

Happy we picked him up. Good to see we gave him some time to develop in the wafl before drafting him.

His development over the last few years has been phenomenal

A few years ago there was genuine doubts he would make it and even last year no-one was willing to match our bid for him as f/s because people didn't want to pay overs for him.

Is turning into a very good solid footballer which shows it's genetic for him. Now we just need to get his cousin Fraser into the team!

Can't believe many on this board didn't want the Eagles to pick him at 62.;)

Has probably taken Smith/Butler's spot in our 22.

Since we usually play with 7 defenders:
Glass,Emac,Waters,Schofield,Hurn,Brennan,A.Selwood and Sheppard can play down there if need be.

I'll admit I was one that couldn't see the logic behind his selection, with so many HBF's already on the list. He's clearly proven to be well worth his spot and I can see him holding Smith and Butler out of the side.

How 'bout that 2010 Draft!!!! :D :thumbsu:

Love the way he got his opportunity and hasn't looked back since. From little bits of him I have caught on Eagle Vision, he seems like a bit of a footy nerd with an absolute love for the game. He doesn't have the god given ability of a top 10 pick, but he has worked his but off to get this far. Well done Monkey Jr!!

i have more confidence in his decision making/disposal by foot that than i do in waters, mackenzie or brown

With his rise and the number of flankers already on our list, I'd be happy to see Smith try his hand at a more attacking role (for Perth initially).
careful, i got slammed for suggesting this a few months ago.

Happy with Brennan. Needs to get better at using his non-preferred foot though, has looked really one-sided on a couple of occasions IIRC
