Jake King the likely replacement?

Just getting the info from the main board, but seems like he's the logical replacement, any of you blokes that watched coburg on a regular basis agree he'll play a part this year, the raps sound promising, can never have too many aggresive tacklers.Looking forward to maybe getting a look at him tomorrow night at Wonthaggi.

If so, then Howat will take over Cog's place, and someone else will fill in for Peterson until he gets better. Howat will be on the main list all season now.

Jake King is a real goer. Watched Coburg acouple of times last season and he was my favourite there. Would always put in a decent job.

Leave a vacancy, and promote a rookie if/when a need arises, so you can pick whoever is in form at the time and fits the required role best.

Yeah that will always be the case, but chances are we will be calling up someone eventually. Maybe mid season after a few more injuries King will be needed more, especially if mature-bodied players are the ones going down.

I could see King getting a chance in NAB game and opportunities thereafter ..before they made a decision to elevate someone to fill a void on the list...assuming that the mail is right about Howat already in for Peterson

howat and king are already senior players its not as if we need to see them at coburg to show what they can do

howat has been dominating the nab 15 and if promoted is a shoe in for the carlton game

let guys like jackson and hartigan earn their games early on and not just give them freebies

Howat would have to be stiff not to get elevated considering the pre-season he put in. Bit of a kick in the face if he doesn't get put up. Done all that's been asked of him.
