Is the foot infection True or BS?
Can anyone confirm or deny what BloodPumps typed?

I think Jamar out will derail our finals chances if true. He is the last player we can afford to lose.

if jamar is out it is a huge problem. this has been our worst fear all year, better to be out before the game than during it tho.

we need him to play.

i suggest it is bs as melbourne are still favourites according to sportsbet - the betting agencies are normally the first to know..
and if our ONLY (and AA) ruckman is out, surely the odds would change. ATM we are warm favourites.

I actually think it's no big deal if he misses this week. We should still win without him. Johnson just has to hold his own against two inexperienced ruckman. If Frawley went down, then I'd be more worried. Haven't heard anything on Jamar being injured, and being Wednesday night, you think we would have heard something from the club by now...

bad news if true.

From an outsiders perspective reckon he, Sylvia and Brad Green are almost pushing AA selection

love him, but 5 standout games dont make an AA candidate

Definitely not Sylvia. He has missed too much footy to make it this season.

Jamar - good chance if they put in second ruck; almost a lock
Green - would need to finish season off well and kick 60 + (currently on 44), star, but unlikely.
Frawley - he is my definite selection for AA. Sensational player down back. Ultra consistent.

Agreed.

Unless your judd, he could do his knee in round 1 & still make the AA & get 15 brownlow votes.

They usually have 2nd ruckman in the AA squad so if the same rule applies this year expect Jamar to slot in on the bench!
Brad Green is a real chance probably in a duel with Le Cras of West Coast!
James Frawley for me should be a definite in somewhere in the backline has he been beaten at all this year?maybe once or twice if that!
Main problem is the AA selectors are in love with the poster boys of the AFL!

Frawley was beaten by Riewoldt earlier in the year. I don't think he was all that flash against the Crows at AAMI. Other than that, he's been pretty much perfect.
