With the trade for Beams done and James Aish not included in the deal one can only wonder if Aish will commit to Brisbane to play his football for them beyond next year, or seek a trade to an Adelaide club or possibly a Melbourne club.
There has been very little mentioned about his managers meeting with his parents but the timing of the meeting appeared to be of an urgent nature. To me this smells of trouble brewing.
Greg Swann made mention that they will work towards getting Aish to commit to the club for 2016 and beyond. To me this does not sound great for Brisbane moving forward so I am wondering if we have been into his ear about a possible move to the Westpac Centre at the at the end of his current contract.
I don't want this issue to go away and believe we need to make a major play for him just like the Bulldogs did with Boyd. Clearly not that sort of money but something that is reflective of his talents.
What are your thoughts?
