Agree. 18 disposals is an improvement in his ability to get the ball, and he used it well in general (although there was one awful kick inside 50 that stood out).Aside from Pendles, Reid and Grundy he was our best last night. On a night when Collingwood were seven shades of shit, choosing poor targets, slipping over and fumbling like the ball was a cake of soap to see Aish put up such a composed game with ball in hand was very pleasing.

Why do you guys take Duritz's bait?
Is that what you are alluding to?Agree. He has a great footy brain. Always seems to be in good spots. Read it off the pack well a few times last night. Was good yesterday. Hard at it and some creative disposals. Took an incredibly courageous mark as well.
He was very good when injected into there centre square. His instincts in close appear to be excellent.
I think it's all a confidence thing with his. Give him five straight games and he'll be playing a very consistent and important role.

Incredibly courageous mark? That's not really my takeaway. He stood under and marked a sky ball without shirking the contest which should be the expectation of each and every player that takes the field. Howe and Oxley could learn a thing or two from it though given their propensity to hesitate when backing into a contest as the plus one.

It was a great mark Sco in the circumstance and probably one of the few highlight for me anyway.
I also loved the fact he got up after that sore excuse for a sniper Thomas tried to take him out.
Sad to see how far Thomas has fallen since 2011. Then I think about the team he plays for and I![]()
Oh I won't begrudge it being a good mark I just wouldn't say it was incredibly courageous. For instance give every single Collingwood supporter out there a chance to stand under that ball and I bet to a man or woman they'll do it.
The culture I want our club to build is that moments like that should be the norm once you pull on the black and white stripes not ones to be seen as a highlight.
FWIW if I'm looking at Aish for a courageous act it's copping the spray from Pendles and getting on with it. That's a different type of courage, but when faced with that my expectations of a 20yo bouncing back are a little different to standing under a high ball. I know I'd rather stand under a million high balls rather than cop a spray on gameday from someone as reverred as Pendles.

I didn't see the spray........good on him accepting the criticism and doing enough for his team for the remainder of the game.
I still think he will only get better.......I would love for Bucks to mix it up this week and play him & De Goey in the centre.
I don't want to see Blair in the centre for the rest of the year.
Aish best Postion is in the Center and where you see the best of him.
Loved 1 passage there where he got the Right Place got Ball from Ruck Tap then Kicked onto Clokes Chest
Agreed Dave but he hasn't earnt the right to be there at the moment.......that will come.
I still would like to see him in there over Blair........but that's just me.
I thought aish was good in the first half. He had a good influence. I just wanted him to go on with it and have a big game.
Its another step forward anyway.
Yeah he did. You are right.Thought Aish ended game well(Last 5 or so Minutes)
Yeah he did. You are right.
I thought at half time though he was going to have a big breakout game though, and then he went quiet. He just needed to go on with it.
But it was a very solid game overall and i thought he was important.
