Interesting to see North fans giving Daniel Harris a lot of votes from the weekends game, whilst many of us had Bartel in the best two or three on the ground.

Personally i think Bartel managed to take the honours, got more of the ball (7 more touches), and took some decent marks (4 more than Harris).

Another interesting point is that Harris is considered North's best young midfielder (by a long way), whilst Bartel is still probably fourth in line at Geelong (behind Ling, Corey and Kelly) in terms of young midfielders.

Shows that we've got enormous depth in our young midfield brigade.

Firstly, he is our best midfielder behind Simpson, regardless of age. In a midfield that has rotations involving Harvey, Grant, Stevens and Wells this is a fair effort. Wells will be a better footballer BTW. That was Harro's worst game for about 5 weeks.

Secondly, I would take Bartel above Ling and Corey. Ling is a ball winning machine, but he doesn't exactly worry me as an opposition supporter. Corey I don't rate too highly. Kelly will be a superstar.
