Didn't look good.

Such a dissapointment when our backline was starting really gel (particularly against Collingwood) - with the losses of Walker, Thornton, Bannister and now Jamison, we're pretty much f**ked in defence.

Then again tonight just showed how much of a rabble our forward line is becoming. Is it time some heat be applied to Fisher? 8 goals from him is a pretty ordinary effort.

I don't understand how a key positon player struggles to kick the ball 45 metres, it doesn't make sense.

I love the guy but he was absolutely terrible tonight.

This his problem. He is not a key position players boot lace. He is 3rd tall at best. We need another big guy across half forward to take the heat off him.

Are we talking about Fisher? I don't think he is labelled as a key position player, and don't think he ever has been?

He's a tall HFF with very good hands.

He won't get dropped because getting rid of forward options is the last thing we can do.

What did people think of Wiggins' effort?

Let's remember he was out injured for the first few games. He's still got a lot of respect in the AFL as a third forward. The problem is we don't have a second one at the moment.

If he plays another dirty one next week, maybe he will get dropped but until we find a player that can do what he does with a penetrating kick he's the best we've got.

It doesn't really matter what I label him as, he's a solidly built guy who is over 190cm tall. He should be able to kick the ball 50 metres.

popped a shoulder while trying to spoil from behind.

No contact....it just popped out when he went for a spoil......played on for rest of 3rd qtr then rested last qtr

considering that his shoulders are all taped up every week he must have shoulder issues

Wiggins was our 2nd best forward tonight, behind Fev. He presented well, put his body in the right place to clear a path for teammates, was hard at the ball & worked hard defensively.

I'm not sure what the long term holds for him, but at the moment there are other players that need to be put under the microscope before him.

Ahh ____ it. Any word on whether its the shoulder that was operated on in the off-season?

Wiggins put in a decent performance i agree :thumbsu: We need to take a serious look at Fisher though, send him to damn kicking school along with Carrats and Scotland

as for wiggins was very very good last nite probably our 4th best player
lead well good pair of hands
will get his 100 games

Jamison was fantastic in the 1st half last night and was one of our better performers. Kept Bradshaw quiet for the majority of the game which is a great effort.

Hurt his shoulder and looked pretty bad, but stayed on for the remainder of the quarter before sitting out the 4th.

Hopefully he can get up for the game next week, would like to see him play on Tarrant.
