I was thinking more Reus, Gundogen, Marchiso and Koke but I'd take any signing right about now
I don't know why Moyes wouldn't target someone they actually have a chance of getting, none of them will be leaving for Man U.

probably eating his cereal

reus and gundogan are absolutely no chance. no idea why the other two would leave champions league teams too.

I reckon Gundogan is a chance.

Others not so much.

Why not? We are manchester united, the most successful club in England over the last 20+ years and one of the biggest in the world.

Gotta aim high as go for the best out there.

I can't see any reason why someone would want to leave Dortmund or Juve for Man U. And even if they did, I doubt you'd cough up the money for them.

Dortmund would only accept a 35m+ deal for Gundergan, can't see you offering that.

Also, as good as Marco Reus is you have bigger needs than what he fills.

So that instantly means we can't go for some of the best out there?

Don't want to become like Liverpool.
I find it funny that you think in your position that players at clubs in a better position are going to want to leave that for United.

If we aren't prepared to splash some cash then we will continue to go backwards.

Money.

City have shown that money is all that matters nowadays.

City are going forward.

Where are United going? I'll give you a hint. The answer isn't forward.

And how did they begin to go forward?

We are still the current champions, all we need is a few quality signings, hardly going backwards. Maybe a few down years but we will be back.

A few quality signings, and how much are they going to cost?

A few down years would indicate you aren't going forward.

All I know is if I'm Gundergan, a German playing in a German team that just made the champions league final, it's going to take a lot of money for me to leave unless its Barca or Real Madrid wanting me.

I think you'll be ok if woody has his sums right.

The Manchester United executive vice-chairman believes the club's stature won't be hit if they don't win anything, citing Liverpool as a model example

It's Gundogan.
