Of course, which means we can afford to pay him but are choosing not to.

If I had a million dollars and our list to play with, I'd be offering 650k to Polec for as many years as he wants and 350k to a competent back up ruckman (there'll be several available this year) as a stop gap to Hayes/Ladhams/Frampton being ready in 2-3 years.

I fear we will overcompensate for our previous poor list management and do the reverse i.e. offer 650k to a backup ruckman (Lycett) and 350k to an outside mid (someone like Hall).

haha, Doesn't mean i'm not right. cant remember exactly what was said but it something along the lines they were looking at Wingard go to that level which he hasn't done so far this year. Should spend the entire preseason training midfield and play entirely their next year and rest forward.
