the idea of jared polec bailing adelaide to play for north because of a nice contract just doesn't make sense, although we do know he likes to hit gumtree up to make some extra pay, but to play for north melbourne? if it was richmond or sydney i might think "shit he has a good deal elsewhere" but nar

According to Sam McClure from SEN Breakfast, Polec, out of contract at season’s end, has received a significant, long-term offer from the Kangaroos, reportedly over $700,000 a year.

If it is true that is a mighty tempting offer and I certainly don't begrudge him considering it. I think the club helped get his body in better shape and he has tried his guts out for us. If he was to leave it is completely understandable, but I would love him to stay.

Very happy for Polec to go, he's an accumulator and that's about it. Good coaches know if you stick a smart player on him and don't let him run onto his left foot then your almost guaranteed to get the ball back. Get a decent pick and push him out the door!

Polec is integral to our team up to a point, anyone who thinks otherwise is doing a ‘Dangerfield’ and just trying to make themselves feel better if he leaves.

However, he is replaceable if the cost is too high. He shouldn’t be in our top 8 for wages due to his position.
