Expecting his good form to continue?

Yep. In previous years you would be forgiven for thinking McVeigh was responsible for every loss we have had due to the negative comments on this board (not from me). But this year even the McVeigh haters have been forced to admitt he has lifted in form and ability and is now one of better players.

Great start to the season by Jarred.

IMO hes in career best form. Always liked him as a player

He still won't put his head over the footy, which was obvious in the 1st Q.
This season he is getting more of the footy but when he does dispose of it,it is in a panic motion.
He is a runner who has no footy smarts and his fumble in the forward 50 in the 2nd Q yesterday when he was 20 m clear of anyone was pathetic.
If you like him so much who would you swap for him?

no, not true at all
i also blamed leo barry's headless chook running (seems to have mostly cut it out this year, or at least handed the baton to mattner), jared crouch's body giving up, and the sluggish skills and decision-making of ben mathews and paul bevan
mcveigh, barry and bevan HAVE been better, but let's not get carried away
mcveigh's improved form has plateaued a bit
can we get a bit of perspective here? mcveigh has been a chronic underachiever until this season, and owes it to the club to continue improving

McVeigh hater.

These strange creatures are found on Swans messgae board/forums. You are not able to reason with them and unfortunately their eye sight is very poor. Luckily of late they are becoming less common and with the help of the CSIRO we are hoping to introduce a virus which will render their repoductive organs useless.

I think part of the problem is that we tend to use all new on ballers in a run with roll, and hope that they develop like Kirky. It's only now that Jacky has come on board that Jarred is afforded a little more le-way, much the same as Noggy. When he doesn't have to pay as much attention to his opponent, we all say how well he played.:thumbsu:

Watch the game, have you ever played it.
It's not hating Mchack, but the amount of games he has been given over footballers who have much more ability than he will ever have.He was a top 10 draft pick only because he came from NSW.
Learn about aussie rules then you might understand.
