HR people are the dumbest ****s on the planet.

Seriously, who gets into HR?

Why? Because they can't do anything productive in their lives, so they spend the rest of their working lives pissing off anyone in their own organisation that actually does work, in order to cover up for their own lack of real worth?

HR workers and bean counters - the biggest drawdown on productivity since rice met magpie geese.

If anyone here is involved in HR, you've got to be one of the weakest ***** going.

I had the privilege of spending a bit of time with one of the bean counters from FFC. Certainly doesn’t mind getting rowdy on occasion. :thumbsu:

Not sure if we're talking about the same one, but I have too. He seemed like a top bloke, but I can't help but feel he was scheming the whole time on how to reduce my productivity...

Could be…although it’s hard to be sure. I think last time I saw him he was wearing a wig…

Not really surprising. For six months you can't really do anything but aerobic activity. I've worked pretty hard and at 10 months I've put up my best 400 and 800 times in about 6 or 7 years. Sprints are laughably bad, especially on the pushsickle.

Good to see I'm matching my knee brother though. Still got one up on the looks department in the same way he's got me in the footy department.

Chop's last wife worked in Human Resources.

Agree on all counts. The most false and passive aggressive people going around.

Apologies to old mate's wife. I'm sure she's lovely.

Was there any truth to Weber being gone?

He is still at the club and was interveiwed on tues about the work the guys are already doing in the offseason so has he told them he is leaving or is the position being filled someone else's job?

Bring back the Kate Upton pic! Don't recognise the new pic in your avatar, but that last one was bang on.

I think the fella you mention is hoping we could grab Misson. In any case, as long as it's not a friggin rugby or cricket conditioning guy then they're worth giving a shot.

I subscribe to the view that over-training causing player fatigue was the issue, not under-training leading to unfit players.

+1. Wallabies are more about power, strength and explosiveness. Completely different regime to footy. Reckon he went over the top with the running work and got the training loads wrong.

Lyon said today there will be a lot of running early and then it will drop back to almost nothing when we start with ball work. Looks like he is dictating the training load so it should be relevant to AFL requirements . Seems he was happy with the level of soft tissue injuries but not the injury recurrence.

Good news.

The man has a brain, clearly.

Along with that, Lyon stated that he wanted to take some of the load off and not have them doing a heavy skill regime early in the pre-season that was originally on the cards, but let that come later in the PS.

I suspect this represents a key difference between Harvs and Lyon. Lyon is going to have good footballers playing very organised footy to bring out their best and thus success (even when the skills sometimes fall over). Harvey employed a loose/vague system that primarily relied on good footballers using their 'skills' to bring success.
