Does anyone know how our 2005 father-son choice Jay Neagle has been faring?

He has a stress fracture in his ankle and will be out for another 5-6 weeks. He's already been out for the last 3 weeks because of it. Check the Essendon website injury list.

Is he likely to break into the senior side in the short to medium term when full fit?

If he did come into the side by the end of the year what role would he take? Half forward flank?

Yeah he could take half forward or even half back. He's mobile enough to play on a flank but we'll have to see how well he recovers from this latest injury.

Isn't he a full back?

Nah he was the leading goalkicker in the TAC cup, the only questions for him were his fitness, and by all reports is doing all he can to rectify that problem.

Why dont people looking for cheap players for their Dream team/Super Coach just say so up front


Jay has started to do some left foot kicking but hasnt strated running yet. He is pretty much restriced to the Pool and Gym .Is still a number of weeks away from playing and would be very long odds of playing a senior game this year.

IS he expected to be a future star? i have heard some mixed reports on him though like lack of determination to wonderful skill level and execution.
