I actually thought he was going to the Dogs but obviously didn't eventuate.

Prob is, it's September, trade period is creeping up on us & Laverde remains unsigned. Talk in the media the saints have offered 400k x 3 years & as such there's gonna be much discussion around a trade.

Are you serious? We got him at pick 19 and just had a break out season where he had 7 games with > 20 disposals. He is still only 20 years old. He is worth a pick from 5-10. Name all the players in the AFL better than Blake at age 20. It wont be a very long list.

Think you are over ratting him to be honsest. He's contracted so worth a bit more but if he were not contracted like Laverde he'd be worth a late first early second. Not saying I'd trading him, but that's what I'd expect to get for him.

Bont, Cripps, Merrett, Billings, Kelly, Crouch off the top of my head from the same draft.

Are you on drugs? He averaged 12 disposals in his 2nd year and 18 in his 3rd. That is a 50% improvement. He also kicked 7 goals up from 0. An infinity % improvement from last year.
He is an absolute gun. Worth a pick between 5-10.

Surely this bloke doesn't leave, but something must be up if he's still unsigned. If he actually wanted out I'd give up a future 2nd rounder and 2016 3rd rounder. Doesn't really fit Melbournes needs but that's what I'd give up
