Opinion Jesse White.....Worth a punt?

Has shown great form over his time at sydney....would be great depth/Lee Brown type role player I think.

I'm not sure what the go is with him, be it lazy or something along those lines but he has a lot of very good attributes. He would be a very valuable player, if you could extract his ability from him on a consistent basis.

Handy back up ruck, looks mobile, decent kick and can take a good overhead mark.

I'd definitely be interested in him.

Played against him when he played at Southport.

Young is a muppet, White is better than him. People said the same thing about Leigh Brown and look how serviceable he was for us.....could be a similar return for not much outlay.

Ps - I don't rate Tom Young, I've made no secret of that.

Don't be fooled by his appearance. He is not AFL level. Sydney had been crying out for a power forward/2nd ruck and he's had plenty of chances.

I reckon Witts and/or Ceglar might be ready next year to play part time ruck/forward. Better to give them the opportunity than recruit a player who has shown as little football smarts as White. Wait for Witts.
