And I also mentioned it sometime ago. We don't want/need Jetta to bulk up and get into packs. We need Jetta running into the right space and for his teammates to be actively looking to get him into space.

This has not happened consistently since Jetta has been with us. Often because Jetta himself is flat footed or his team-mates are not looking for him.

Needs to get into space.
 
i started this thread because i thought jetta wasn't doing enough and copped a bit in the replies, but my opinion has changed ... he definitely shouldn't be in the team now.

almost completely useless ...
 
agree he was ordinary yesterday as were alot of others but most of the calls for his head all year have been over the top imo..

He simply doesn't work hard enough and doesn't play smart enough. I have hopes that he can improve but I honestly think he'll always be one of those inconsistent players who shows enough flashes of brilliance every now and again to keep his career alive.

Gee, it's only his 2nd season in the system.

What do you want him to do, kick 50 goals in each of his 1st 2 seasons?

Plenty of time to improve....the way you carry on, you'd think the end of the world is nigh.

I thought Teddy Richards had a very good game. Kept Jack Riewoldt to 2 goals and with the amount of service that he was getting, should have had at least half a dozen.

On Jetta, I wonder what has happened in the last 18 months to have him in such poor form. In the pre-season last year he dominated that match against the saints (only nab cup though), and then played pretty well in the first few games of the season. Lack of confidence? Workrate?
 
Yeah, he's in terrible form. Needs to be dropped, and just be told to run, run, run in Canberra. They should tell him that he won't be picked again until he can get 35 touches in Canberra. It doesn't matter about the quality, he just needs to show he can get into space and receive, and if necessary win his own ball, and the only way he can show that is to rack up numbers. The quality will look after itself.

Yeah, Richards should be included....he is the new Craig Bolton now, so reliable.
