just to let u no im not a collingwood troll

a mate of mine who is a melbourne member said his mum (used to be a melbourne member) got a call from big jim personally and he asked if she would like to renew her membership.
has he done this for everyone?
if he has, i must admit, i am gobbsmacked, in a unbelivable way that he would do this. for one if its true i think its exactly what was needed
in my eyes.
great start jim:thumbsu:

there would be way to many for him to call all by himself, but like the players he will chip in where he can with phonecalls to encourage people to sign up

Before each season most clubs have a night where the players and the rest of the club call people who haven't resigned and try to get them to sign up. It's not uncommon.

I'm just visualising a team of indian telemarketers sporting irish accents.

Nuff, someone was trying to flog a $200 raffle ticket the other day.
Have you seen the prizes for that raffle though?

Considering I doubt many will enter, its not a bad risk to take. Worst comes to worst, you're still donating to the club.
